The seven-day National Day holiday has come to an end. It seems as a trend that the ticket prices of many scenic spots have been raised higher than usual during the golden-week holiday. Take Mount Huangshan in Anhui Province for example, the price is around 340 yuan per person.
On the one hand, some people point out that during the golden week raising ticket prices of popular scenic spots can help promote the development of local economies and increase local revenues to a large extent. What's more, increased revenues can be partly invested into daily maintenance of scenic spots, so as to provide a better environment for more potential visitors. On the other hand, a group of people are still against such practice during the golden week. Firstly, higher prices cannot guarantee better services. As far as I am concerned, to make profits by means of raising ticket prices is the same as killing the goose that lays the golden egg. Nowadays, a growing number of students are planning to study abroad. However, people's opinions are sharply divided on this issue. For example, my friend James is studying in the USA and tells me about his overseas life and study. According to him, there are many advantages.
